Problem
A Boston Hotel wanted a non invasive and simple approach to integrating valet parking software with their property management system (PMS). Their goal was to have real-time data streaming to their PMS so they could be responsive to their guests and manage revenue more effectively. They wanted the system to work within the preexisting authentications and security.

Solution
CABEM built and deployed a solution which can be used for the integration of Legacy, ERP or PMS systems. The web based solution is non evasive to existing systems, uses existing authentications, and enables remote diagnostics and the generation of real-time metrics. (does not require database integration). The technology used screen-scraping technology, keyboard simulators, and scripting to replicate iterative keyboard entry. It uses a drop in transactional server that contains the proprietary software and OS to enable the application. The operating system is a derived version of Red Hat Linux configured for cost, reliability and efficiency.
