Incident Reporting
Problem
A valet parking company in the Boston area with numerous hotel and restaurant locations desired a software application to track and expedite field incidents for customer and insurance reporting requirements. Field users could have a complete range of computer literacy so simplicity and intuitive capabilities were primary concerns. In addition funding was limited for this effort.
Solution
CABEM built an application that creates, records and stores automobile incident reports, reconciles insurance payment reports against the incident report claims and has a provision for adding supporting documents to incidents. The application creates a standard reports log by time/date/location and has a metrics module with a download to Excel for further data manipulation. The secure system allows for multiple authentication/viewing levels when logging in. CABEM built the application using open source tools and LINUX OS to minimize costs. Finally, CABEM installed the application at the customer location for hosting in a secure environment.
