CABEM’s integrity, strength and solutions are a direct expression of our executive team. We bring to the table a unique and diverse energy, a subject matter expertise, and a strategic vision that draws from many years of business experience.


Jay Fredkin

Directs CABEM’s Business and Project Requirements with 25+ years of experience leading results-driven high technology businesses. Prior to CABEM, Jay was CEO and President of ENI. Previous to ENI, Jay was a Senior Vice President at NTS, managing strategic direction, acquisitions and integration of over 20 divisions from aerospace test facilities to software. Jay's past roles include President of an ISO Registrar, Engineering Management, Sales Management and Project Management. Jay has served on IEEE Standard committees, and the ICB board of three ISO registrars. He is currently on the Board of several companies throughout the U.S.


Brian Matthews

Directs CABEM’s Design and Development effort with 25+ years of experience designing B2B solutions. Prior to CABEM, Brian served as ENI’s CTO, designing e-procurement and e-commerce sites, and at SKYVA, where he led the effort to design Skyva’s scalable platform for Extended Supply Chain and B2B transactions for ERP and legacy systems. Brian’s innovations are evidenced throughout his career and include the G2 real-time expert system he created during his tenure as Vice President at Gensym; as well as the design and licensing to Skyva of SourceCraft’s development tool technologies; a company founded by Brian and acquired by Skyva International.


Dr Bill Dieter, PhD

Directs our Research division while providing software design and development, and instrumentation expertise primarily for CABEM's military projects. Prior to CABEM, Bill was an assistant professor at University of Kentucky, where he taught computer and electrical engineering at the graduate and undergraduate level. With an expertise in the "practical" improvement of computing systems, Bill's research has focused on designing systems hardware and software tuned for performance that can be measured in terms of speed, power, consumption and size. Bill has worked on embedded systems through supercomputers and has published papers on topics ranging from Cluster Supercomputer Design to Speculative Precision Computing.


Boris Savic

Heads up Creative Design Services for CABEM with significant client experience serving large and small organizations such as Wells Fargo Bank, Major League Baseball, the MBTA, XM Radio and Zoo New England. Boris moves effortlessly between the digital and analog design world, equally comfortable working on corporate identities, complex web interfaces, letterpress posters or Flash games. Boris has a deep passion for comic book design and illustration (baninom.com) and has written papers on the influence of sequential art on innovative user interfaces. His teaching experience includes UMass Lowell and School of the Museum of Fine Arts. Boris had managed his own design studio, Rocket North, for several years before merging with CABEM in February of 2007.


Chris Matthews

Senior Developer, is CABEM's Software Development and Hardware/Infrastructure engineer. Chris provides leadership to CABEM in the development and deployment of new hardware and software systems while offering service and support for our customers. Chris is personally conversant in open source and .net development environments and is responsible for applications that include an integrated application with a user base of over 1+ million users. Chris specifies and installs Hardware and Hosting environments within and outside of CABEM’s hosting environment. A graduate of Northeastern University, Chris interned at EMC where he learned chip and board level hardware engineering skills.


Martha Reyna-Medina

Leads Technical Support Services and provides Account and Project Management for CABEM. Prior to CABEM, Martha worked for ENI, managing the customer service and technical support departments. Martha has worked in Information Technology businesses for 15+ years focusing on hardware, software, and ecommerce. Martha’s expertise in training, and adoption and testing, combined with her knowledge of application development, web services and technical documentation, offer CABEM’s clients responsive problem solving acuity and support.


Roze Fredkin

Leads Marketing and Communications for CABEM and provides Account and Project Management. With experience grounded in strategic communications, design management and fine art, Roze managed high-profile marketing campaigns driving revenues for Monster Worldwide and Timberland’s Database Marketing, Consumer Direct and E-Commerce units. While Senior Manager at BankBoston/Fleet, Roze grew the internal design group overseeing brand building communications initiatives with an emphasis on strengthening employee, community and shareholder relationships in post merger environments.
